JAZZ CENTRAL
Vern Burton Center (4th & Peabody)
This is the largest venue. It is "jazz central". Redemption of early sale badge vouchers site sales take place here. Vern Burton will seat about 400. The sound is great and the dance floor is wood and large. There is a large theater seating area for the listeners plus there are tables in the rear. The Sunday gospel is presented here. The Kokopelli Grill will provide food and beverage service. Great food!
Eagles Club (110 Penn Street)
This venue is the dancers favorite. There is a huge good dance floor for dancers. But, the venue is great for listening. The venue will hold about 350. The venue hosts the Sunday Gospel event. Food and beverage prices are very reasonable. Some dry RV parking available.
Red Lion Hotel (Front & Lincoln)
The Red Lion Hotel is a major sponsor of the festival. Aside from being centrally located and having a fine restaurant called the Crabhouse, the hotel provides a fine venue. The room is upstairs over the restaurant. It seats about 225, has great acoustics and has a small dance floor. It is about a four block walk to the Vern Burton Center. Food and beverage available of course.
The Council Chambers (4th & Peabody)
Well, by popular acclaim, the Port Angeles City Council Chambers will serve as a venue again. This facility will creates an intimate and high quality venue offering comfy seats, excellent sight lines, wonderful acoustics all within the same building as the Vern Burton/Jazz Central.
